Ingredients:

• 2 Ibs chicken wings

• 2-3 tbsp Commander's Bloody Mary Spice Blend (we recommend spicy, adjust to taste)

• 1 cup Tomato juice or Clamato juice

• 1/2 chicken broth

• 2 tbsp lemon juice

• 1 tsp black pepper

• 1 tbsp olive oil

• Fresh celery and lime wedges for serving

*If doubling or tripling recipe, be sure to get more spice blends!

1. Prep the Chicken Wings: Rinse and pat dry the chicken wings. If they are whole, cut them into flats and drumettes; discard the tips.

2. Season the Wings: In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with 1 tablespoon of Commander's Bloody Mary spice blend, ensuring they are evenly coated.

​

3. Sear the Wings: Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken wings and sear for about 2-3 minutes per side until they are browned but not cooked through.

This step is optional but adds extra flavor.

4. Prepare the Sauce: In a medium bowl, whisk together the tomato or clamato juice, chicken broth, lemon juice, black pepper, and the remaining Commander's Bloody Mary Spice Blend.

 

5. Combine in Crock Pot: Place the seared chicken wings in the crock pot. Pour the Bloody Mary sauce over the wings, ensuring they are well-coated.

6. Cook: Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, until the wings are fully cooked and tender.

7. Finish and Serve:

• If you prefer crispy wings, you can transfer them to a baking sheet and broil them in the oven for 3-5 minutes after they are done cooking in the crock pot.

• Serve the wings hot, topped off with our savory spice blend, garnished with fresh celery sticks and lime wedges on the side.
